about this event
Watch the best teams from Singapore and India pitch live. Join us for the Grand Finals of the Singapore-India Hackathon 2026, where the top teams present their solutions on stage to a panel of judges and a live audience.
About the Singapore-India Hackathon: The Singapore-India Hackathon (SIH) is a cross-border innovation programme that brings together students from Singapore and India to build solutions to real-world industry challenges. This is the 4th edition, organised by Singapore Management University (SMU) with AICTE India, and co-organised with TiE Singapore. Selected students are placed in mixed Singapore-India teams, across 4 industry tracks. Over several days in Singapore, teams work with industry mentors to develop and refine their ideas. The programme carries a total prize pool of S$88,000.
What are the Grand Finals? The Grand Finals are the culmination of the hackathon. After the semi-finals on 16 November, the top two teams from each industry track advance, giving eight finalist teams who take the stage to pitch their solutions.
What will happen on the day? Pitches: the eight finalist teams present live to a judging panel of industry leaders, academics and ecosystem partners. Judging and deliberation: judges score the teams, and prizes are announced during the Gala Dinner in the evening.
What happens after? Guests are invited to stay on to connect with the finalists, mentors, judges and fellow attendees from the Singapore and India innovation ecosystems. Join us for Talent Exchange, from 2-3:30PM. Hackathon participants meet with managers and HR leaders from top MNCs and startups, so they can take the SG-ID partnerships far beyond the bounds of the hackathon.
Who should attend? Industry partners, founders, VCs, ecosystem builders, educators, alumni of past editions, and anyone interested in building the Singapore-India innovation corridor.
